WWE superstar Charlotte Flair was spotted walking with crutches just two weeks after suffering a devastating injury.
The former women’s champion is set to undergo knee surgery early as she faces a long recovery with nine months on the shelf, ruling her out of WrestleMania 40 in April 2024 and beyond.
The injury occurred on the December 8 episode of SmackDown when Flair was hurt badly in a match against Asuka during an ad break, as she slipped on the top rope and took a terrifying fall.
She reportedly suffered a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus in the incident, and now Flair – who is said to have signed a big money WWE contract extension recently – is awaiting her operation.
On Friday night, she was in attendance at the CMLL Super Viernes event at Arena Mexico as her husband Andrade El Idolo teamed up with Brillante Jr. and Espanto Jr. to beat Los Depredadores (Magia Blanca, Magnus and Volador Jr).
In footage shared on social media, Flair could be seen hobbling to her seat using a crutch for support, before taking her seat in the front row.

Earlier this month, videos appeared on social media showing the 37-year-old wrestler – whose father is WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair – slipping and catching her leg on the top rope.
She was visibly distressed and in a lot of pain as she yelled about her knee to veteran referee Charles Robinson, but the incident – and the subsequent exchange – didn’t make it to the broadcast.
The Queen was quickly pulled from all live events, as PWInsider reported at the time that some people behind the scenes were ‘extremely concerned the knee injury could be fairly serious’.

Being out of action for such a lengthy spell is devastating for the star, who returned to SmackDown in June following a two month hiatus after her loss to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39.
Since then, she has been embroiled in a rivalry with Damage CTRL, getting support from Shotzi as they recently teamed up with Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair against Bayley, Asuka, Kairi Sane and current WWE Women’s Champion Iyo Sky at Survivor Series: WarGames.
