TVLine Items: The Cleaning Lady Enlists Mayans M.C. Vet, The Holdovers on Peacock and More

Clayton Cardenas, who starred as Angel Reyes in the FX biker drama Mayans M.C., has snagged his next role.

The actor has been added to the Season 3 cast of Fox’s The Cleaning Lady, Deadline reports. He will portray Dante, Ramona’s (Kate del Castillo) trusted lieutenant described as “intense and authoritative with a dangerous edge.” Focused on protecting the business, Dante “grows increasingly aggravated with Thony (Élodie Yung), who constantly undermines their operations.”

Cardenas joins fellow newcomers Kate del Castillo and Santiago Cabrera, who were previously cast as series regulars for the upcoming season. Castillo will play Ramona Sanchez, a benevolent philanthropist, art collector and loving aunt who’s also shrewd, powerful and fiercely protective of her family, her business and her many dark secrets.

Meanwhile, Cabrera will portray her brother Jorge, a Harvard Law graduate and successful businessman using legitimate business fronts to launder money and serve as a fixer in his family’s organization.
