How to watch ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 21 episode 3 for free tonight

A new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” season 21 will air on Thursday, October 10.

The new episode will air at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. Those without cable can watch the show for free through FuboTV or DirecTV Stream, each offering a free trial to new users. Sling is another option for streaming the show, and promotional offers are available.

The new season picks up in the aftermath of the season 20 finale, where Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) quit Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital to pursue her Alzheimer’s disease research and several staff were fired including Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone), Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) and Chief of Surgery, Teddy Altman (Kim Raver). Catherine Fox (Debbie Allen) is trading barbs with Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) who is standing up for the interns.

According to ABC, this season will also see the return of Kali Rocha as Sydney Heron and Jesse Williams as Catherine’s son Jackson Avery.

For those who don’t know the series, “Grey’s Anatomy” is a high-intensity medical drama that follows a team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital who are faced with life-or-death decisions daily. They seek comfort from one another, and, at times, more than just friendship. Together they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white.

In episode 3, “Simone and Lucas work to balance their relationship while competing to assist on an awake kidney transplant; Teddy offers Amelia a new opportunity; Ben’s interview doesn’t go as planned; Meredith’s secret causes tension with Richard."
