Grey's Anatomy season 18 spoilers follow.
Glee star Harry Shum Jr is the latest actor set to join the upcoming season of long-running show Grey's Anatomy.
According to Deadline, Shum will be playing Daniel 'Blue' Kwan who is a first-year surgical resident at Grey Sloan.
Kwan is described as "generous by nature but competitive to a fault, naturally gifted, and used to winning at everything. A family crisis interfered with his career plans and now he's got a lot to prove."
Shum is known for his role as recurring character Mike Chang in musical show Glee, as well as Charlie Wu in Crazy Rich Asians and Chad in critically acclaimed film Everything Everywhere All at Once.

The finale, which saw the show mark its 400th episode, saw plenty of twists and turns, including the decommissioning of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital's teaching program.
Elsewhere, doctors Owen Hunt and Teddy Altman fled with their two children after it was revealed that Owen had been exposed for running an assisted suicide programme.
The pair were last seen on the run, flying away on a plane with their kids. However, Kim Raver, who plays Teddy, recently hinted that it might not be the last we see of the characters.
