Cristiano Ronaldo was joined by Conor McGregor at ringside to watch a stacked night of boxing action on the ‘Day of Reckoning’ card in Saudi Arabia.

Anthony Joshua will headline the show in Riyadh on Saturday night against Otto Wallin with Deontay Wilder in action against another former world champion in Joseph Parker.

Should they come through those tests, the heavyweight rivals are expected to return to Saudi in March to meet in one of the biggest fights in boxing.

Ronaldo, who left Manchester United to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr at the start of the year, arrived midway through the show, sat next to Turki al-Sheikh, the head of Saudi’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA).

Former UFC champion McGregor also arrived at the venue ahead of the final three fights of the night, taking his seat next to the striker.

Ronaldo was also in attendance to watch Tyson Fury narrowly beat former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in October.

The Portugal international watched on as Daniel Dubois secured a final round knockout win over Jarrell Miller.

The Londoner suffered defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in his world title fight against Oleksandr Usyk in the summer but responded with an impressive win over the American.

Earlier on the card, Agit Kabayel scored perhaps the biggest upset of the night, knocking out Arslanbek Makhmudov in the fourth round.
