Celebrity Big Brother bosses are said to be lining up a Royal Family member for the new 2024 series…
Big Brother made an explosive return to our screens this year, with a bunch of new housemates providing six weeks of iconic entertainment, with 26-year-old ex-lawyer Jordan Sangha crowned the winner and leaving £100,000 richer.
As BB continues to make waves on ITV, a new version of the much-loved celebrity season will be back early next year so, naturally, speculation is rife over who has signed up.
According to reports, the casting team is willing to splash the cash on the one and only Sarah Ferguson.
Yes, after Nigel Farage received a whopping £1.5million for his I’m A Celebrity stint, executives are reportedly ‘pulling out all the stops’ to line up the 64-year-old Duchess of York and hand her a £500,000 paycheque.
As per The Mirror, a TV insider said: ‘Sarah would be a brilliant signing for Celebrity Big Brother.

‘She is very smart, engaging and funny. Not to mention the millions of viewers she would pull in if she began talking to housemates about the Royal Family and Prince Andrew.
‘Sarah has never considered reality formats in the past but ITV bosses are hoping their offer might change that position.’
They added that ‘signing her would be a massive coup’ and ‘that’s why they are digging deep for the offer they plan to make her.’
It is understood the show became interested in the Duchess after she co-hosted and guest-edited a recent episode of This Morning.
‘Sarah has a great relationship with ITV and her stint on This Morning last month was a real success,’ the source added.
‘It was an unexpected move for her but it worked brilliantly.’

The insider also noted that she ‘wouldn’t be the first person with royal connections to do reality TV’, given Mike Tindall’s success in the jungle in 2022.
While we are left to wonder if Fergie fancies a stint in TV’s most famous house, we do know she loves her telly.
Before co-hosting This Morning, she said she was ‘an enormous fan of the show’, later admitting that her time in front of the camera was still ‘terrifying’.
As well as the Duchess, there are plenty of big names supposedly lined up for CBB 2024.
From Phillip Schofield to Katie Price, the casting team is said to be working overtime to secure the stars who will get people talking.

It’s no surprise ITV is willing to spend big money on Celebrity Big Brother – reportedly launching next March – given the success of series 1 of the ITV civilian series.
The relaunch gained Big Brother its biggest viewing figures in more than a decade, with millions tuning in to catch up with the house antics, from explosive arguments, to love triangles, to shock evictions.
Announcing CBB’s return, ITV previously said: ‘Celebrity Big Brother will see a new cast of famous faces isolated from the outside world as they embark on the ultimate social experiment, taking up residence in the iconic Big Brother house.
‘Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will take part in weekly nominations and tough tasks with cameras capturing their every move.
