Going into Week 9 of “Big Brother 26,” T’Kor Clottey was one of two remaining houseguests who had yet to hit the block. The other, Leah, won HOH, and took the shot, backdooring T’Kor with the help of Angela‘s Veto. That also ensured that T’Kor’s tight trio with Kimo and Rubina would be broken up. And it was with T’Kor getting the boot 4-1 over Rubina on Thursday to become the second juror. But even though she wasn’t an initial nominee, T’Kor knew her days in the house — or in Jankie World — might be numbered from the very beginning of this week.
“Honestly, the minute that Leah won the HOH and the pact being made,” T’Kor tells Gold Derby. “That meant options were limited and I knew that Leah was targeting the trio. And so I think that was the moment that I knew that I would be in trouble.”
Despite putting up and getting out one of her own allies, Tucker, in Week 6, T’Kor has mostly laid low and was in good standing with everyone thanks to her sterling social game, which her fellow houseguests and viewers have been clocking all season. But the 23-year-old doesn’t think her social game was that amazing. “There were houseguests that came to me and told me that I have a really great social game. My personal ranking, I think I would give myself a 6,” she says. “In my perspective, I don’t think that I was as insulated as people made it out to be. I had put four people on the block as my reign as HOH and three of them at this point were still in the game. So I think my perception of my social game was a bit different than what I heard from some other people in the house.”
The crochet business owner has few regrets in the game, but she does wish she had done one thing differently besides winning that Veto. “Now that I’m thinking, when I walked out of that house and there was that game and that puzzle and that button, I’m like, maybe I should’ve pressed the button!” T’Kor quips. “Definitely am gonna try not to overthink things as things are what they are, but grateful for my experience in this house and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.”
