Big Brother 26’s Jury Round Table Just Got A Massive Shakeup With Dr. Will Kirby’s Latest Announcement

After over 10 years of serving as the Big Brother Jury Round Table host, Big Brother legend and season 2 winner Dr. Will Kirby has announced that he's stepping down from the role. During the Big Brother Jury Round Table, Will sat down with the jury to discuss who they thought should win the $750,000 grand prize. Will began hosting the Jury Round Table during Big Brother 15 and continued through Big Brother 25. During Big Brother 22 and 23, Will couldn't host due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Parade, Will stated he won't be the Big Brother 26 Jury Round Table host. He said, "I can confirm that I will not be serving as the Big Brother jury roundtable host this season." Will explained, "It's simply time to hang up the proverbial cleats. The run I've had on the show, first as contestant and then as a host, is practically unheard of but nothing lasts forever; I am ready to pass the reality television baton!" Parade reported that CBS has not yet announced who'll take Will's place as the Big Brother 26 Jury Round Table host.

Will, who's now a celebrity dermatologist, won Big Brother 2 in 2001. He later returned in 2006 for Big Brother 7, which was an all-stars season. He placed fourth in that season. Will is widely regarded to be the best player in the show's history.

I can confirm that I will not be serving as the Big Brother jury roundtable host this season. It's simply time to hang up the proverbial cleats. The run I've had on the show, first as contestant and then as a host, is practically unheard of but nothing lasts forever; I am ready to pass the reality television baton!

In his statement, Will said it was time for him to pass the baton, which means he's ready for someone to take his place as the Big Brother Jury Round Table host. With 25 seasons worth of houseguests to choose from, Big Brother has a galaxy of beloved stars who could take Will's place. The show already had a special Big Brother 26 episode during which Big Brother winners Jag Bains (season 25), Taylor Hale (season 24), and Cody Calafiore (season 22), offered their commentary about the season. Any one of them would make a fantastic Jury Round Table host.

Although Will is going to be greatly missed as the Big Brother Jury Round Table host, there are many qualified alums who could take his place. Whether the show chooses a legendary winner such as Dan Gheesling, Derrick Levasseur, or Rachel Reilly, or an iconic fan-favorite such as Danielle Reyes, Janelle Pierzina, or Tiffany Mitchell, the host must have extensive knowledge about Big Brother, as well as a charismatic personality like Will.

During the Big Brother Jury Round Table, Will asked the jury hard-hitting questions about which houseguest should take home the grand prize. Because he's so respected in the game, he was a source of clarity for the jury. It's going to be very intriguing to see who takes Will's place as Jury Round Table host. Will's exit is another example of how, on Big Brother, everyone should always continue to "expect the unexpected."
