Makensy has full control of the week on “Big Brother 26,” but it’s really Chelsie who’s in power.
After winning the Veto on Saturday, Makensy can do as she pleases and initially planned on keeping her Angela and Kimo nominations the same with the goal of booting the former. This would’ve ended the streak of Veto usages at nine weeks, but then Chelsie and Cam went to work on Sunday.
The pair convinced her that backdooring Leah is the way to go because she is after Chelsie, is the only one left who’s yet to hit the block, and the move would curry favor with the jury. They told her not to worry about pissing off Leah because they’re the ones voting her out, not Makensy. Rubina then told Makensy that Leah’s ideal final three is probably Cam and Angela before Makensy finally blurted out that she wants to take out Leah.

Makensy then talked to Leah, who told her that taking out Angela is a bad move because it leaves the two of them vulnerable to the Kimo/Rubina and Chelsie/Cam duos. Leah, who regrets not targeting Chelsie last week, noted how well Chelsie is playing and has been feeding different stories to different people. Makensy then told Kimo that she’s considering take him off and putting up Leah, which obviously delighted him. Chelsie later parachuted in to deprogram all the doubts Leah put into Makensy’s brain.
So unless something changes Monday morning, Makensy will make the catastrophically dumb move of backdooring Leah. This will effectively kill her game and hand the $750,000 check to Chelsie unless she’s taken out in the double eviction, which, considering this group, is unlikely. Neither Angela nor Leah would cut Makensy before the final three like the others would, but she’s been misted so hard by Chelsie and can’t play the game for herself.
